Hair Expo Australia releases free stage education program as industry prepares for a show-stopping 2019 edition

The biggest event on the calendar of the Australian professional hairdressing industry is almost here! More details have come to light on what visitors can expect this June long weekend in Sydney, with top-tier education and innovations from leading brands paving the way for an incredible 2019 edition of Hair Expo Australia.
Hair Expo have released their stage education program for 2019, detailing 37 sessions across the Main Stage, Men’s Stage and Styling Stage which are free for all Hair Expo visitors to attend. A fantastic line-up of iconic local and international educators are set to bring their renowned tips, techniques and styles to share with the industry’s eager professionals, on topics including men’s and women’s precision cutting and styling, colouring, runway and signature trends, and more.
Anticipated highlights of the Main Stage include the ‘Global Hair Trends’ session led by world renowned industry icons Robert Cromeans and Angus Mitchell, who will demonstrate the latest in global colour and style trends through an exciting display of hairdressing visionary. Visitors can also learn how to re-create Guy Tang’s social media-worthy formulas first-hand at Guy’s ‘Discover Your Colour Identity’ session on the Main Stage, alongside #Mydentity crew Ariana Sin, Kim Pham & Gina Atkinson.
The Men’s Stage will be home to some of the best barbers and men’s hairdressers in the industry over the Hair Expo long weekend, including Liam O’Hara, Jason MacPhee, Temoc Nunez and Evan Thomas. The King’s Domain barbers will showcase their cutting philosophy and discuss their game-changing techniques during their ‘Sectioning vs. Visual’ and ‘Square vs. Round’ sessions over the Sunday and Monday of Hair Expo.
Hot Tools Professional are the 2019 sponsors of the Styling Stage, where the Hot Tools Australia team will lead their ‘Stylist Preferred’, ‘24K Magic’ and ‘Masters at Work’ sessions over the three days of Hair Expo. In addition, Hair Expo Awards’ 2019 NSW-ACT Hairdresser of the year finalist, Paula Hibbard, has joined forces with Gold Fever Hair Extensions to bring runway-worthy hairstyles to Hair Expo visitors on the Styling Stage during her ‘Runway Ready’ session. Paula will demonstrate how to create runway, formal and bridal hairstyles that hairdressers can easily re-create back in their salons to provide for their clients.
Visitors coming to Hair Expo to discover new brands and products will get their fix on the expo floor, as the line-up of brands exhibiting at Hair Expo is impressive to say the least! Along with expo favourites, some of the latest additions include Blackpants Workwear, Piiq Digital, Just Brushes, Sach Hair Extensions, Salon and Beauty branding, Khairpep and Hattori Hanzo Shears.
