Thursday 21 March 2019
The wait is over! Registration is officially open for the Australian hair industry’s most celebrated event, Hair Expo, the Festival of Hair.
“We are thrilled to be returning to Sydney in 2019 with a brand new program featuring some of the industry’s most brilliant and esteemed international talent and local heroes”, said Cory Watson, Hair Expo Event Director. “We have three incredible female headliners this year - Jen Atkin, Candy Shaw, and Tabatha Coffey, as well as a fabulous line up of well-known and boutique brands for hairdressers to immerse themselves in. We’ve also got some brand new initiatives we’ll be announcing shortly, and let’s not forget two show-stopping evening events you won’t want to miss!”
World renowned international headliners to showcase creative skills and business expertise
Hair Expo’s curated 2019 program is headed by three international superstars, each with a unique specialty, who will be sharing their invaluable knowledge with Australian and New Zealand hairdressers.
Celebrity Hairstylist Jen Atkin will head to Sydney for her first Hair Expo, in collaboration with Dyson. The self-made talent will lead a two-hour creative seminar where she’ll share all her styling secrets with the event’s professional audience, who attend Expo to learn the latest trends and tips to take back to their salons and clients.
Candy Shaw, recognised as ‘The Balay Lama’ for her industry-leading balayage skills, will be headlining Hair Expo for the second year running. Candy will share her tips and tricks on balayage colouring – a trend that continues to prove popular among consumers who are increasingly requesting balayage services in the salon – via two intimate hands-on workshops and a creative Look ‘n Learn session.
Hair Expo luminary Tabatha Coffey will return to Sydney for the first time in 4 years. She’ll be sharing her unmatched business knowledge in two small group sessions, as well as six individual one-on-one’s with business professionals wanting to elevate their careers and salon. These once-in-a-lifetime workshops will sell out fast.
