The GenNext Project is an opportunity for 5 hairdressers to present their creative talents as a group in a world-class 5 minute show at the GenNext Gala at Hair Expo 2012.
The GenNext Gala
GenNext is Hair Expo’s platform for upcoming artists to show an audience of 1,200 both their creative talent and hair artistry abilities. This Gala is held Sunday evening 10th June 2012. The night highlights up to 10 salons featured in a 5 minute ‘mini-shows’. By supporting new talent in the industry Hair Expo promotes each team through an extensive campaign and prominently credited on the night.
What they win
The five lucky winners will receive:
- Participation in the GenNext Project show at the GenNext 2012 Gala
- 2 day mentoring workshop with Sharon Blain Hair Expo Educator of the Year 2009, 2010 & 2011 and the Art of Hair education team
- Participation in the production a live show, working alongside professional choreographers, stylists, video production and models
- See their name in lights at the Gala prior to the show
- A scissor kit to the value of $4,500 courtesy of Excellent Edges
- An invitation to attend the exclusive Hair Expo Finalist Cocktail Party

What happens now
The winners will be notified by phone and email.
Winners will be attending a workshop with Sharon Blain and The Art of Hair Team on the 11th & 12th March 2012 in Sydney and the GenNext Gala on 10 June 2012 in Sydney (travel and accommodation not included).
