WHO CAN ATTEND HAIR EXPO POP UP?
Hair Expo Pop Up is a trade only event and is therefore not open to the general public. Business identification is required. Appropriate trade identification is such as the following:
- Signed letter from your manager on company letterhead stating your employment
- A personalised business card (appointment cards do not qualify)
- Certificate/ Diploma of a course you have completed (Industry relevant)
- Business registration documents plus ABN number or business certificate
- Pay Slip
- Invoice from a supplier including your salon name
- Company cheque book/ credit card

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), 1 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf, VIC 3006.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
2-Day Expo Ticket (includes entry to Beauty Expo Melbourne):
• $15 early bird price (up until midnight Friday 20 January 2017)
• $22 full price (from 21 January to 26 March 2017)
HOW MANY DAYS OF THE EXPO DOES MY EXPO TICKET GIVE ME ACCESS TO?
Your expo ticket gives you access to two days of the show and includes entry to Beauty Expo Melbourne.
HOW DO I BUY AN EXPO TICKET?
You can purchase an expo ticket online prior to the event or your can purchase your expo ticket at the entry to the expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday 25th March 2017 or Sunday 26th March 2017 during expo hours.
If this is the first time you are attending the expo, you will then need to provide a copy of your trade identification documentation with your name and salon name clearly outlined. If you have attended the expo before, you should already be on our system so you should not be required to provide trade ID. However, we recommend you bring your business card with you as a precaution if you for some reason are not appearing on the system.
I'VE REGISTERED ONLINE BUT AM NOT SURE HOW TO GET MY ENTRY BADGE.
You will have received your badge via email, which you can print and bring along with you to gain entry into the expo. You are required to wear your badge to get into the exhibition halls.
I HAVE REGISTERED ONLINE, BUT WHAT IF I HAVE FORGOTTEN/NOT RECEIVED MY BADGE WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE SHOW?
You are able to reprint your badge at the Reprint booths at the venue.
CAN I BRING A GUEST?
Only Salon Owners and Managers are allowed to bring a guest from outside of the industry. A valid ticket will need to be purchased at the registration desks at the venue.
ARE CHILDREN PERMITTED IN THE EXHIBITION HALLS?
Children are permitted, however we strongly recommend that you find alternate care due to Health & Safety and as it is a business event. Children under 15 are free to enter. Children over 15 will need to purchase a valid ticket.
I DID NOT GET TO ATTEND THE SHOW. CAN I GET A REFUND?
No, tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable.
CAN I PURCHASE EDUCATION TICKETS WITHOUT HAVING A SHOW TICKET?
You must purchase a badge allowing you entry onto the expo floor in order to attend any educational sessions offered.
WHAT DO I GET WITH THE PURCHASE OF AN EDUCATION PASS?
There are three Education Packages available at Beauty Expo Melbourne/Hair Expo Pop Up. These Education Packages are for Professional Skills, Business Education or Hair Look’n’Learn. Each Education Package gives ticket holders access to each education session of that type throughout the course of the show.
A Professional Skills Package gives access to each Professional Skills session over the course of the show.
A Business Education Package gives access to each Business Education session over the course of the show.
A Hair Look’n’Learn Package gives access to each Hair Look’n’Learn session over the course of the show.
Workshops are not included in the Education Packages and tickets must be purchased as individual sessions.
